I created the opening credits to Rear Window while learning the ropes of Adobe After Effects. In tribute to Saul Bass, I chose a bold and simple theme. Although I wanted to bring life to typography, my main goal was to create the right atmosphere while smoothly moving through the scene.

Rear Window Animated Opening Credits
Prompted by a class assignment, I created the opening credits to one of my all time favorite movies, Rear Window. I grew up watching Hitchcock and it laid the foundation for my love of thrillers/horror/crime films. Inspired by the legendary Saul Bass, I aimed to recreate the tone of the film using very simplified illustrations and dramatic color schemes. This was my first project in After Effects and I had a blast exploring and discovering all the crazy cool things it can do. I can't wait to play some more!
